Available Courses

  • This is an annual mandatory training for all instructional, transportation, food service, maintenance, and custodial personnel. The course includes mode of transmission, workplace safety, and prevention.
  • This is the first course for teachers wishing to earn their gifted endorsements. In this course, we will discuss topics such as defining giftedness, developing resiliency in gifted students, understanding the unique needs of gifted students, and advocating for gifted students. smile

  • In this course, you will be introduced to the diverse population of students who are identified as gifted, their needs, and their social, cognitive, and emotional characteristics. This course will also help you develop an awareness of the different strategies that can be used to create an exceptional educational environment for this unique population!

  • This course is one of five required to earn the gifted endorsement. In this course, participants will learn about the academic, emotional, and social needs of special populations of gifted students.

  • This book study will be an interactive course working through the book, "The Art and Science of Teaching" by Robert Marzano. The course will involve reading the text, participating in the assignments and interacting on the forums for discussion of the text. The book can be picked up from Dawn Lamb.
  • This course will provide a course reviewing of the elements of writing quality a benchmark test.
  • The Improving Technology Skills courses are designed to help teachers and staff to improve their proficiency and efficiency using technology. New courses will be posted monthly and will require online registration. A follow-up activity must be posted to receive credit and points for the course.
  • A course for teachers to learn and discover all of the wonderful ways that web2.0 can enhance the classroom experience and engage today's learners.
  • This is an online Computer applications course for the ELP students at Branford High School and Suwannee Middle School.
  • This is a site for students taking technology classes at Suwannee Middle School.
  • This is the site where all teachers at SMS will submit data that has been analyzed.  Plans will be developed for monitoring the progress of all students at SMS.

  • Lesson plan submission for Suwannee Middle School teachers.
  • Suwannee High School Lesson plans will be submitted every Monday for the previous week's activities. Curruiculum Maps will also be submitted here at the beginning of the year and every six weeks as they are updated. Each teacher at Suwannee High will follow this procedure.
